PRESCHOOL CURRICULUM ( go back to the top )
Our preschool program curriculum is designed to grow along with your child, teaching essential skills in a logical, natural sequence that encourages children to learn, step by step. We combine mental stimulation, physical activity and social interaction in a visually exciting, and unique environment.
Our strong, literacy-based approach teaches writing, phonics and reading readiness, by incorporating letters of the week, songs, rhymes and stories. Weekly activities also include math, science and art projects. Several of our lead teachers are bi-lingual and incorporate Spanish into our classes. Basic computer skills as well as science discovery will open your child’s mind to new ideas and experiences.
Our daily schedule includes time for independent free play, giving each child time to develop on his/her own, discovering his/her interests, skills, and strengths. As well as small and large group activities, in which the children participate in stories, songs, and other activities fostering listening skills, creativity and social development. The maximum class size is 10 children (2 yr old classes have 12 children) and all classes have a Lead teacher and a floating assistant.
Each activity is geared to help your child learn to relate and work well with others, improve important academic skills, as well as develop critical life skills such as patience and self-control.We strive to help each child gain independence and confidence.
In order to register for the program, you must submit a completed registration form. You may drop off your registration materials at school or mail to the address listed on the registration form.
